a haven of serenity

really good warmth spacious rooms convenient access

the staff showed really good warmth and care throughout my stay, especially emma at the bar, who was very helpful. the rooms were spacious, and included two comfortable double beds, i found it really relaxing. the hotel's location offered easy access to many bars and restaurants, it was very convenient.

i did noticed that the bar had limited stock, and i was forced to choose an alternative drink.

underwhelming stay due to several issues

uncomfortable pillows non-functional chromecast

The pillows provided were uncomfortable. i found the tv advertised chromecast capabilities did not function in my room. a staff member spent a considerable amount of time attempting to fix it, only to inform me it wouldn't work for the night.. this was disappointing since chromecast was a major reason i booked the room. I expected a relaxing evening, but that did not happen.

the breakfast had a tasty variety of choices so that was acceptable i suppose

my stay was poor there was no conditioner provided in the shower only shampoo that's it the room was very noisy because it was a joined room i could hear the tv in the other room all night it was not ideal

excellent proximity quality items attentive service

the location offers excellent proximity to the city center I found the staff to be polite. The breakfast selection had quality items that were well prepared I especially appreciated the attentive service during breakfast.

i noticed a slight musty smell in the room after checking in

Really good City Stay

friendly staff great breakfast clean room convenient location

The staff was wonderfully friendly and always available. The breakfast was great. The quality was very consistent. The room was very clean and well kept. I appreciated how close the hotel was to the King Richard visitor center (just a five-minute walk away).

The lighting in the room was not ideal. I would have preferred brighter overhead lights.

The room had an iron with ironing board and a hair dryer. The beds felt new and very comfortable, contributing to a good night's sleep, always a welcome thing when you are traveling (it certainly made a difference).

The full English breakfast had many options. I particularly enjoyed the croissants. The staff were very attentive in the breakfast area, everything was well-stocked and clean. The variety of foods was great (I love to try new things).

The staff member Francisco was very pleasant. He. The location is great, close to the city center. My room was a Standard Room, and it was very very comfy and tidy.
